The NHS team are returning to school on Thursday to complete vaccinations for any children who were not in school on the 4th to receive it then.

Thank you all for your continued support and understanding in following COVID guidance for school attendance.

Please continue to ensure that children do not attend for school if they are symptomatic with a cough, temperature or loss of taste or smell.  Please advise us of these symptoms and immediately seek a test.  The household should isolate until a test result is received.

If your child becomes symptomatic on either Friday 18th or Saturday 19th December please email nicola.moody@taw.org.uk as soon as possible informing me of the symptoms and the date and time of the test that you have booked.  If symptoms develop on the 20th December or later school do NOT need to be informed.

Hi all

My fault for causing some mixed messages for tomorrow, apologies!

It is Christmas Jumper day so children are asked to wear uniform and if they wish replace their school jumper with a festive jumper they can!

We had mufti last week so felt this was best, apologies for the confusion caused.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE SEEN THE MESSAGE WE ISSUED YESTERDAY:

‘Guidance has been released from the DfE today with regard to the Christmas leave period/ support for track and trace.  Schools and post 16 providers have been given the advice to hold an INSET day on the 18^th December and that the DfE are recommending that the last day children are in school is on the 17^th December.

Together with our Governors and Newport Infant School we are therefore amending dates to the following:

School will finish on Thursday 17^th December for the Christmas Holiday.

Friday 18^th December: PD Day

Monday 4^th January: PD Day

Children will return on Tuesday 5^th January.

The PD Day planned for Monday 7^th June is now CANCELLED.
