We will sell poppies and other items from the Royal British Legion on the way into school.  If they can have their money ready on their way into school we will begin sales on Wednesday 4th November.

Over the last week we have been delighted to welcome new members to the staff team:

Miss Bold has been appointed as a teacher for the remainder of this academic year.  She will be working to lead interventions across the school next half term and to provide cover in the event of the absence of a teacher.

Miss Whitehouse, Mrs Anderson and Miss Crompton have joined the Teaching Assistant Team.  We are looking forward to working with them.

It has been a genuine pleasure to welcome you back into school this half term.  We are so, so proud of how well you have done on your return to school; you have been happy and positive.  Staff are so pleased with how hard you have worked; well done for the progress you have made.

You are excellent role models for compassion, courage and community and we are very proud of you.

Have lots of fun over half term: we can’t wait to hear about your break.

I am so grateful to the NJS staff for their hard work and commitment this half term.  They have worked in challenging circumstances with a commitment and positivity that has made a difference to our wonderful children.

The staff have shown resilience in adopting new routines and have enabled children to feel comfortable with these routines and positive about being back in school.

They are a very special team and I hope all of them have a relaxing and enjoyable break (especially after an 8 week half term!).

I just want to express thanks, on behalf of the school staff, to our parents and carers for their overwhelming support this half term.  Please know the massive difference this makes to us.

You have put your trust in us in these ‘tricky times’ and we appreciate, more than ever, the importance of working in partnership with you to ensure our NJS children are happy and safe.
