IMPORTANT COVID UPDATE

I have been advised that there has been communication with others incorrectly that we have a confirmed case of COVID at NJS.  Please can I clarify that this is incorrect: NJS does NOT have a confirmed positive case of COVID.

IF we did have you would hear this information from ourselves.

Contact Forms: URGENT

If you have not yet returned your contact form to the school office please can you do so as soon as possible.

It is really important that we have up to date information from our families.

Year 3 parents and carers please can you also ensure you return the allergy form that was posted in your new starter pack.

ALL PARENTS AND CARERS PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSBILITY TO ADVISE THE SCHOOL IF PERSONAL DETAILS OR MEDICAL INFORMATION NEEDS AMENDING FOR YOUR CHILD WITHIN THE ACADEMIC YEAR.

Emails

A couple of parents have queried with me how often teachers will check their emails hopeful for an immediate reply.  I hope you appreciate that teachers will prioritise their teaching and the care of the children during the school day and their own families and wellbeing in an evening.

Teachers will check their emails daily and respond as soon as they are able.  We welcome your communication and want to work with you, as we develop new ways of working we just ask for your support.

Please also be mindful some staff (including myself working a 0.8 week) are not full time: again we will respond as soon as we are able or ask a colleague to contact you.

If your query is urgent and you need a quick response we recommend telephoning between 8.30 and 3.30pm.

We thank you all for your ongoing support and work in partnership.

Tik Tok Alert

I have been made aware of an extremely distressing video displaying on the Tik Tok App.  It is advised children do not use this App whilst this is addressed by the provider.

Caretaker Post

Our caretaker, Mr Matthews has taken the decision to retire this half term.  He has worked with the team at NJS for around three years and has worked incredibly hard in his role, we will miss him.

The post is currently being advertised by Telford and Wrekin Council should you know someone who may be interested the details can be found here:
