Military Kids Club – Thursdays 3.15pm-4pm
This club is open to children who are registered as Service children and for who the school receives Service Pupil Premium funding for. Additionally, children who have an immediate connection to a currently serving member of the Armed Forces can attend, if you feel that this club will support them in any way.
I am a year 4 teacher and have a background in the British Army, where I served for 9 years. I am also a parent of Service children and have dealt (and still deal!) with the impact of Service life on families. The aim of the club is to provide wellbeing support and nurture, as well as completing fun activities as a group of children who all have something in common. Some of our previous activities have included: making poppies for remembrance day, learning the phonetic alphabet, orienteering and team building visits to Beech’s Base.
Children who meet the above criteria can attend the club every Thursday between 3:15-4pm.
If you believe your child/children are entitled to Service Pupil Premium, please see the attached information and contact the school office to confirm your eligibility: njs.admin@taw.org.uk

4N Violin – Lesson 3 🎻
A wonderful violin lesson with Olivia today! The children have been learning to read notation and have practiced playing a piece with the bows for the first time. Lots of practice and effort got them to this stage and will allow the children to really build on this in the coming weeks.
Beech’s Base – DATE SWAP – 4OP and 3L ONLY!
Date change for B.Base – 4OP have swapped with 3L due to their original date clashing with sports day.
Tuesday 18th June = 3L
Wednesday 19th June = 4OP
I will pop a reminder on the website closer to the time.
Many thanks,
Mrs Ollerenshaw
