Year 3 Trip to Greggs, Local Park and Swimming

Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope you are well.

I would like to take the remaining Year 3 children on a short trip to Greggs (by McDonald’s) and the nearby park on Monday morning, weather permitting. This is for the children remaining in school and not going on the Edgmond residential.

We will leave school at approximately 9:30am and return by 11:30am. Please ensure your child brings £3 spending money if they wish to purchase something from Greggs.

These children will also be swimming in the afternoon – so will need their swimming kits.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Advice for parents on WhatsApp

At the request of some parents I am sharing this advice poster about WhatsApp, published by the National Online Safety organisation. It has lots of useful advice and suggestions for parents on the risks of children using WhatsApp and points out that WhatsApp is aimed at children aged 16 and above.

5P at Beech’s base Wednesday 13th May

5P are at Beech’s base on the afternoon of Wednesday 13th May. Children can come to school in Beech’s base kit. They must bring a change of footwear with them and a waterproof coat.
