We have just been alerted that there is an app called ‘IMVU’ which is a social media app that allows the user to create an ‘avatar’ and speak to strangers.  It also pinpoints your location so that whoever you are speaking to can see where you are.  This is what the app looks like:

We would recommend that your children do not use this APP.

The Shropshire Young Thinkers Team have congratulated and thanked NJS for the amount and quality of entries they received for their competition; ‘How I would change the world in one great idea’.

I am delighted that we have three pupils who have been selected as finalists; congratulations to Abi Thompson, Henry Payne and Mabel Bowen.  They have been invited to a finalists event at the University Centre in Shrewsbury in February.
