Year 4 using their multiplication and division skills to solve a puzzle.Year 4 took their maths skills outside last week. They had to find all of the clues to solve the mystery of the missing flag from the North Pole. To find the letters that spelt out the answer, they had to solve the multiplication and division problem on each card. It all got quite competitive in the race to be a super sleuth.

The Art of Science Club

Our first ever ‘Art of Science Club’ was great fun. We learnt about thermoplastics and thermosets and so we coloured plastic cups and cutlery and put them in the oven. It was fascinating to watch them change shape and we decided to turn them into snails. We even tried fusing some objects together. Science rocks!

Grandparents Open Lunch!

We are looking forward to welcoming Grandparents into school on Wednesday 5th October at 12pm to celebrate National Grandparents Day this week.

We needed numbers for this lunch by Friday to ensure sufficient food was ordered.  Due to the number of additional requests this week we are holding a further Grandparents Lunch on Wednesday 12th October.  If you wish to attend you must return your slip by Thursday 6th October please.

Looking forward to lunch with the Grandparents. Mrs M x
