Languages Day celebration 28.09.18

All afternoon the children have been completing different themed activities to practise their French. The children in lower school have enjoyed the following:
Geography of France
Watching some French TV
Playing number games
Learning songs
Reading stories
Alphabet games.

Children in upper school have enjoyed the following:
Playing Guess Who?
Reading stories
Singing Songs
Watching French TV
Playing number games
Performing a short poem

Well done to everyone taking part this afternoon!

FRIDAY – Wear Red for Zac

Newport CE Junior School pupils are invited to support this local fundraising campaign for Zac: https://www.shropshirestar.com/news/health/2018/09/19/lets-all-back-zac—500000-campaign-to-get-life-saving-treatment-for-shropshire-four-year-old/

Children can bring in a donation, of any amount, and wear a red item!  it could be red socks, red jumper, red t-shirt, red lipstick, red hair bobbles, anything….you decide!
