5P First week back Timetable

Hello 5P families,

Below is a copy of key dates in the first week which the children have made notes of in their home link diaries.

Have a good rest and a great half term,

Mr Parker

Bikeability – Reopened!

Due to low Bikeability numbers – we have reopened the sign up via ParentPay.

Please read the letter attached to ParentPay and then decide if Bikeability is suitable for your child.

For the 20 that have signed up – their letters and Bikeability consent forms are coming home with them tonight. If they do not bring the consent form back into school with them, then they will not be able to take part.

Many thanks

Mr M

5OP Merry Go Rounds and Crumble

5OP have loved learning about programming this half term in computing using crumble.  Their final lesson  of this topic was to create a merry go round and get it to go round using the crumble software.  We had a very successful afternoon!

5OP – English

Well done 5OP! They were all fantastic in English today as they discovered a new technique called ‘show don’t tell’. This is where the children show an emotion through body language, facial expressions and actions rather than telling the audience directly.

Here are just some of the brilliant examples…

Viking Jewellery in Year 5!

The children who remained at school today completed a very tricky task of making Viking Jewellery. This is to go alongside out art and history topics!
The children showed great determination to not give up and lots were helping one another with the tricky process.
Once they got the hang of it, they were absolute stars!

5K Viking purses

5K spent Thursday making their Viking purses with Mrs H.
