Reminders of things happening for Yr 4 Children:

Monday – Roman Day – All children to be dressed as a Roman for Roman Day.

Tuesday – 4OP PE kit.
– 4M Lunch and Learn – Signed up parents ready for a lesson at 11am and lunch at 12pm.

Wednesday – HOMEWORK DUE IN. Please bring in your homework book by Wednesday morning.
– LIBRARY. Children will have the opportunity to borrow or exchange a school library books.
– 4N PE kit.

Thursday – 4M PE Kit
– 4OP Lunch and Learn – Signed up parents ready for a lesson at 11am and lunch at 12pm.

Friday – PE. All children to have their PE kit in school.
– 4N Lunch and Learn – Signed up parents ready for a lesson at 11am and lunch at 12pm.
– Be Bright Be Seen – Wear a bright colour! Walking bus from Shuker field at 8.30am.

We wish to make you aware that we have a case of head lice in Year 4.

Please can we ask that you routinely check your child’s hair.  Please treat appropriately should you find headlice, advice can be found here

As a school, we have entered an art competition called the ”Big Draw’. Each year group has a different theme and task to do for the competition.

Year 4 have been asked to use leaves and any other autumnal treasures (acorns etc). We will be using them at some point in the next week or so for the competition.

We are therefore asking if you could send some leaves your children may pick up when they are outdoors and any other autumnal treasures they find. If they could be brought into school by Friday 13th October that would be really helpful for our entry! It also gives the leaves the time to dry out so we can complete the task set.
