Ziva and Seb Sports Awards!

It was lovely in class yesterday afternoon to celebrate Ziva and Seb’s achievements this year in their sports in front of the other children.

Ziva had her medal and trophy from Dance where she won the trophy for how much effort she has put in this year. Seb explained how he competes in a Tetrathlon, which consists of the four disciplines of running, swimming, riding and shooting. Seb won the award this year for Most Improved Athlete this year.

If your child has a trophy or an award  to share and celebrate, please contact me thomas.marsh@taw.org.uk or allow them to bring it in.

5M Reading for Pleasure Book

As our class book, we have just started ‘Framed’ by Frank Cottrell Boyce. This is a book set in North Wales involving a rural community and the exploits they get up to. It has been an exciting start so far in Chapter 1!

5M Art

5M have this afternoon creating their own range of Kandinsky art using a range of mediums. Children used both paint and pastels to create their own versions of abstract art inspired by Kandinsky. They had so much fun!

5M Children in Need

5M loved having Pudsey visit our class this afternoon. The children have enjoyed learning about where some of the money goes and the causes that Children in Need supports.
