Yr 3 Non Residential Children – Mrs J

Whilst the majority of the children are away at Edgmond, the team and Mrs J have put together a mini project for the children to complete “The Perfect Playground!”

Mrs J will be getting the children to research, design and build their own playgrounds.

On Monday morning the children have the opportunity to visit Shuker playground and a cheeky visit to Greggs. If they would like to purchase a treat from Greggs please send your child with a couple of pounds – no more than £5. The children will then come back to school fully refreshed and ready to draw and design. On Monday afternoon we have also managed to get an extra swimming session for the children, a fun session – please send them into school with their swimming kits.

On Tuesday the children will be building their own playgrounds. Please could you send your child into school will some recycling which they will be able to use for this.

Any problems please speak to Mrs J or myslef.

Kindest regards

Mr M

Yr 3 Edgmond Residential

With only the weekend to go before our residential, I thought I would re send the Edgmond Hall Flyer, with some reminders…

  • Children need a packed lunch on Monday – disposable packaging.
  • Children need a water bottle for the two days.
  • Limited packing as the children have to carry their own bags.
  • NO bedding or shower stuff. A sink wash, with flannel and toothbrush is adequate.
  • Medication handed in to Mr M on Monday morning – with a letter for when and how to administer (inc inhalers!)
  • Please ensure everything has a name label.
  • Think about the weather (sun hats and sun cream they can apply themselves!) If torrential rain – wellies and water proofs!

If you have any problems over the weekend then please contact me (ben.moody@taw.org.uk)

Many thanks
