Key Stage 2 SAT Results

Year 6 Parents and Carers

In your child’s report you will have received a sheet that contains their Key Stage 2 SAT results. This sheet contains:

For tests: you have the outcome: whether your child has achieved the expected standard (AS) or has not met the expected standard (NS) and a scaled score.  As a reminder:

At KS2 the range of scaled scores is 80 to 120. A scaled score:

  • below 100 means that your child may need more support to help them reach the expected standard
  • of 100 or more means that your child is working at, or above, the expected standard for the key stage

We are also required to give you the context of how Year 6 pupils have performed nationally, this can be found here:

We are very proud of the attainment of all of our children.

If you have any queries please do contact myself or your class teacher.

LOST PROPERTY

We have a volunteer who is kindly going to organise the lost property bin into order on Thursday afternoon and lay items out in front of the office.  This will be available throughout Open Evening for parents to view and reclaim!

Please do have a look, there is currently a lot of lost property.

Anything left in lost property at the end of term will be placed in our pre loved uniform sale or taken to a local Charity Shop.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

Year 6 School Reports

Year 6 School Reports are being sent home this evening…

We are very proud of all our Year 6 children have achieved and hope this is celebrated in the reports.

Within the body of your school report are contained teachers assessments of your child’s academic attainment.

On a separate sheet you will have their SAT results. More details about these SAT results can be found in this booklet for parents: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1164740/2023_Information_for_parents_assessment_results_at_the_end_of_key_stage_2.pdf

Any queries please do get in touch with myself or your class teacher.
