Sing for our Carers and keyworkers

Message from Telford and Wrekin Council: Sing for our carers and keyworkers

Last week we clapped for our carers. This week (Thursday 8pm) we’re asking you to open your windows and doors, get out in the garden or on your driveways and sing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.

NJs Wildcats: Football

We are so lucky to have Mrs Wood in our team who dedicates so much time to girls football.  She has kindly produced the following video to give you tips on maintaining your skills during school closure:

Home Learning Reminders

Thank you to everyone who has sent their thanks in for the Home Learning activities and suggestions.

I had a query again today about printing and pitch and I just want to reiterate my message…. Please try not to print the daily slides: save paper, children are used to working from the board/screen in school.

In school teachers adapt the work to suit the needs/abilities of the children; this is a challenge from afar.  The work provided is aimed at the majority: please make use of recommended websites if you need to support or extend your child.

The intention of home learning is to keep skills ‘ticking along’ it is not intended to necessarily provide new learning or a home schooling offer.

Staff are working really hard to provide a manageable offer for the majority.

Do what you can, when you can and when your children want to.  Don’t force it; prioritise keeping them safe and happy.
