Reading Newsletter

Every half term we produce a Reading Newsletter to promote a love of reading. Please find time to share it at home together. In it, we aim to recommend some good reads, profile authors and usually have some book related fun with puzzles or quizzes!

A member of staff will share their favourite children’s books too. This time, its a big thank you to Mrs Morris, who works in the school office, who tells us all about the books she enjoyed reading as a child.

Enjoy!

Show racism the red card this Friday! – 17th October

Remember to wear an item of red clothing along with your uniform or come dressed totally in red this Friday!

Friday 17th October- NJS will show the red card to racism!

Children do not need to bring in any money for this event.

IMPORTANT

Please can we remind parents and carers that NJS does not supervise children until 8.45am.

When children are waiting to be collected by their teachers they should be stood on the playground and not running around, scooting or cycling.  We also ask, for their safety, that children are not on the field or in the trees.  This of course also applies to younger siblings.

Thank you for your support.

Lost coat…

Lenny in 5OP has lost his coat, it does have his name in.  Please can everyone check they have the right coat and let teachers know should it be found.
