6J Tag Ruby Session 3

6J loved their tag rugby lesson in the rain today! We worked on passing to a team mate as we approach the defensive line, and how to ensure our attacking team remain onside. Next lesson, we are hoping to put our skills to use in some small sided games.

6B Beech’s Base

Thank you to Miss Lockwood for a wonderful session in Beech’s Base with 6B today. The children had a wonderful time making sun dials, using a torch.

Well done everyone!

Tag Rugby in 6B

Class 6B had fun in their PE lesson this morning. We continued our topic of tag rugby and practised passing backwards, whilst running with the ball. We also played games of ‘tag’ whilst trying to rip the tags off each other. Well done 6B!

Yr 6 Torches

Please can we ask that children in 6B & 6J bring in a torch from home on Monday in preparation for later in the week. This is to support with our work in Science where the children are studying ‘Light.’

If you are unable to provide a torch, please do not worry, we do have a limited amount available within school that the children could use.
