YEAR 4 – MUSIC ISSUE

Good morning year 4,

We are so sorry but the link for the music lesson is currently private meaning we cannot access this. When we planned this last week, it worked. Unfortunately, the year 4 children will be unable to complete the music lesson.

Instead of the current lesson, please could your child create the ultimate home school playlist! This could be their favourite songs that will help boost their energy during the day.

For example Mrs K would choose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars

Miss J would choose Spice up your life by the Spice Girls!

Try and make a list of at least 10 songs!

Sorry about the inconvenience.

REMINDER OF OUR FRIDAY REQUEST FOR KEYWORKER FAMILIES:

Parents and Carers

We are currently without guidance to inform schools of the expectations for provision over February Half Term and we felt it important to share this with the parents and carers of our keyworker children.

There are likely to be two options:

  1. The government requires schools to offer provision over half term.  In which case we will subsidise that through Activ8 as we have done for school holidays during the pandemic.
  2. The government does not require schools to offer provision.  IF there were viable numbers we could potentially still enable Activ8 to offer provision at a cost to yourselves.

This will be joint work between ourselves and Newport Infant School as always and we are grateful to Activ8 for their continued support of both schools.

Please could you email nicola.moody@taw.org.uk by 5pm on Wednesday 27th January IF you definitely would be interested in half term provision.

Assembly Thursday 1pm on Facebook Live!

This will be a celebration assembly!

If any parents, carers or staff wish to nominate a child for something they have done that makes them proud I would love to receive them.  Please email me (nicola.moody@taw.org.uk) by 11am on Thursday.  If you can include a short explanation and if you wish a photograph (if you are happy for this to be included and shown on Facebook in our Live Assembly).

I am looking forward to hearing about the wonderful things your children have been doing.

https://www.rspb.org.uk/get-involved/activities/birdwatch/everything-you-need-to-know-about-big-garden-birdwatch/#Resources

The RSPB are holding their annual Big Garden Bird Watch.

If you are interested in taking part or just in learning a little bit more about the birds that visit your garden, then this link will take you to their site.

There is a lovely poster to help you spot and identify the birds you see.

Happy bird watching!
