On the 24th October 2018 NJs Years 5 and 6 football team went to TCAT Superdome to play 3 matches; it turned out to be 5! We had to play on a huge pitch for 7 minutes which meant we didn’t have enough time to score any goals.
in the first match we played Market Drayton who were wearing black and red. We were in pink! In goal was Erin with Erin and Scarlet in defence. Mrs Wood said ‘they worked together great’. Up front was Darcy with me in centre midfield and Kaci and Kara on the wings.
As it was only 7 minutes long it went by quickly with the result 0-0 for all 3 matches. For the second match we played against Highly in purple. Our third match against Market Drayton went the same. As it was 0-0 against Highly we had to play again; this time 1-0 to Highly. Our next game against Market Drayton ended 1-1 and went to penalties. our goalie was Darcy and our three penalty takers were Kaci, Emma and Scarlet. Market Drayton won and went through with Highly.
Sadly we didn’t get through but everyone enjoyed it and it was a great experience.
