Dear Parents and Carers,

Following several parental enquiries about what to dress up as, we discussed today with the children in assembly about what they could wear on Friday, with a voluntary donation of £1, for NJS’s Red Nose Day.

Children can come dressed as a favourite adult who helps them, gives them words of encouragement, inspires them, etc. It can be literally anyone, and not necessarily someone who is well-known to all (i.e.: doesn’t have to be a famous person – could be a family member). Its up to you how far you go with this idea – remember, the event is about raising awareness of the good work done by Comic Relief charities and, hopefully, raising much-needed funds.
