Wednesday Y6 Keyworker children

Hello Y6 this is a reminder for Y6 Keyworker bubble children to remember to bring in old clothes for our colour explosion ‘Express Yourself’ activity.

Children will be coming home with some very dirty clothes but we’re hoping to have a really fun time getting dirty.

Please remember if there are any reasons for children not taking part email me to inform me.

Home learning 01.02.21

Hello Year 6! We hope you’ve had a relaxing weekend and are ready for another week of learning. This week is a little bit different as we are celebrating Mental Health Week.
Mental Health Week

We want you to aim to have less screen time and have a digital detox. With that in mind, over the week try to complete a range of these activities:
Mental Health Week Wellbeing Tasks
The wellbeing task sheet, which covers the full week, is an interactive pdf. You can access links and sheets directly from the pdf.

We want to see photos of you completing these tasks as well as your brightly coloured clothes to reflect your feelings. Please send photos to NJS.Year6@taw.org.uk

Work for today:
Literacy – you are developing show not tell skills
Monday 01.02.21

Reading – choose an appropriate reading challenge, either 1*, 2* or 3*. This is an interactive pdf file so children can type directly into it.

Decimals 1

Online lessons today are with Mr J but times are slightly different:
6J at 12-1pm
6K at 1-2pm
6S at 2-3pm

Have a good day!

Reading – The Lost Diary

I have noticed that very few have viewed the last instalment of the book. In order for me to post further readings it is beneficial for the children to view the clip.

They don’t have copies so to understand the historical context they need to watch the reading of it.

Many thanks!
