Homework is due by 9am on Wednesday 27th November.

  1. Complete 3 reads to an adults & get your reading record signed. This can be at home or at school.

  2. Complete test set on http://www.maths.co.uk – this is a really useful way of us analysing gaps in the curriculum on an individual level.

  3. Complete 10 spellings from the national statutory spellings words. Spelling List

  4. Complete SPaG activity on sentence punctuation Sentence Punctuation

Please remember that Miss Bold’s homework club has now finished, so children will need to have their homework in by 9am on Wednesday. 

Yr 6 & Yr 4 – Raffle Prizes needed!

Children in Yr 6 & Yr 4 will have bought home a leaflet advertising our Senior Citizens tea party, taking place on Tuesday 3rd December at 2pm!

Please can we kindly ask that Yr 6 & Yr 4 children look to see if they can bring any raffle donations into school to support our Senior Citizens tea party raffle. Items can be brought in and stored in school until the event.

We appreciate your help in supporting this event and hope it bring some joy to our local community!

  1. Complete 3 reads to an adult and have your reading record signed.
  2. Complete maths task: converting between mixed & improper fractions. (This follows up on what we have been doing in class this week) Support on how to do this can be found here: Mixed & Improper fractions
  3. Complete SPaG task: Using modal verbs in sentences. Support on how to do this can be found here: Modal Verbs
  4. Complete spellings from the statutory word list, including using the words in a paragraph.

Reminder that Miss Bold runs a homework club on Wednesday in 6B 3.15 – 4pm. Children are welcome to attend this to receive some support in completing their homework.

  1. Complete 3 reads to an adult and have your reading record signed.
  2. Complete the compare & order fractions sheet – choose one half of the sheet based on your confidence. Compare & Order Fractions (Support on how to compare and order fractions can be found here: Fractions with Mr J – YouTube)
  3. Complete SPaG sheet on colons, semi colons & dashes SPaG homework
  4. Complete spelling practice including a paragraph to show the words in context. Spellings 1-110

Miss Bold runs a homework club on a Wednesday at 3.15 – 4pm in 6B. Children are welcome to attend this if they would like some extra support with their homework.

We hope you have all enjoyed a relaxing half term. A few key reminders for the first week back:

Monday – Ms Branton teaching 6M in the afternoon

Tuesday – ALL children swimming kits in school / 6B PPA (Mr Humphries teaching 6B)

Wednesday – 6J PPA (Mr Humphries teaching 6J) / 6B Beech’s Base (Come to school in forest clothes)

Thursday – Mrs Yates teaching 6J in the afternoon / 6B PE kits in school.

Friday – 6M PPA (Mr Humphries teaching 6M) / 6M PE kits in school / 6J Beech’s Base (Come to school in forest clothes)

Yr 6 Tuesday – PE KITS NEEDED

Please can we ask all children who are not attending the Cross Country event to have PE Kits in school on Tuesday.

We are planning on taking the children in the hall to do some gymnastics and use of the climbing frame/ropes/ladders etc.
