Green to be Clean – Special Event!

Tomorrow, we will be holding our Green to be Clean event in school. This has been spearheaded by one of our Year 6 children who feels very passionately about helping those in need of access to clean water.

We are asking children to wear green mufti and to contribute with a voluntary donation (we suggest a minimum of £1) which will all be donated to Water Aid – a charity that help to provide access to clean water across the globe.

At 3.15pm, there will also be a selection of cakes on sale on the main yard which have been baked by some of our Global Avengers, as well as some staff and parents. If your child wanted to bring in any homemade cakes, please feel free to do so!

We are really looking forward to raising money for this charity and allowing the children an opportunity to make a difference to the world around them. An assembly will be held in the morning which will give more information about why we are supporting Water Aid.

CGP Books – SATs Support

Following on from Parents’ Evening, where many parents asked about how they could help at home to prepare their children for the upcoming SATs, we would like to share the CGP Website with you. This is something that was also recommended at the SATs Workshop back in February.

There is currently a discount code available to use in order to reduce the cost of any purchases you make:

All you need to do is use this code before 30th April: EASTER20

Please note, we do not expect parents to purchase books, this is just to help those who asked for which resources we recommend.
