Year 3 Performance Tomorrow!!!

Performance Arrangements

Parents and Carers, our Year 3 performance is due to go ahead tomorrow:

Tuesday 7th December 6pm Year 3 at NJS

THE SECURITY GATE WILL OPEN AT 5.30PM (not before so please don’t come early!) and CHILDREN WILL GO INTO CLASSROOMS AS THEY USUALLY DO IN A MORNING WHILST YOU MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE HALL.  WE ASK THAT ALL CHILDREN ARE IN FOR 5.45pm.

GUIDANCE FOR THOSE ATTENDING LIVE PERFORMANCES AT NJS:

*Strictly one adult per NJS child.  STRICTLY NO siblings will be permitted.  Please don’t bring along any siblings as we will unfortunately have to turn you away which will be disappointing for you and your child. (All performances will be filmed and shared as we are aware that many family members would have wished to attend.)

*We ask that no one attends the performance who is displaying COVID symptoms: cough, loss of taste/smell or temperature.

*Please wear a face covering.  (If you are exempt from wearing a face covering please wear a lanyard to indicate this).

*Please sanitise your hands on arrival and sit in the allocated seats as positioned (chairs will be distanced).

*We would prefer that all audience members take an LFT test the day of the performance.

*External doors will be kept open throughout the performance to allow for good ventilation: please dress appropriately as it will feel cool.

*At the end of the performance we ask all audience members to remain in their seat: children will be dismissed to you one:one to avoid any crowding.

Thank you for your support in enabling the performances to go ahead whilst keeping our school community safe.

Well done Year 6!

Year 6 children:

Year 6 your teachers have been very proud of you this week: the team work you have demonstrated has been exceptional and your positive attitude and behaviour has been recognised.  I think the experiences you have had this week have given you great training for Arthog!

I’d like to thank ‘Team Arthog’ for the walk to Lilleshall: Mr Moody, Mr Jones, Mr Lawson, Mr Yates, Miss Smith and Mr Leonard.  The Year 6 team for the visit to Greggs, the Wildings, Beech’s Base etc. Mrs Kerr, Miss Bold, Mr Jones, Mrs Humphries, Mrs Henderson and Mrs Breen.

Thank you also to Mrs Askin and Mrs Sullivan for offering us use of the Wildings and activities to complete whilst there: everyone enjoyed their day.

Well done Year 6!

URGENT YEAR 4 UPDATE

letter re Year 4

Year 4 Parents and Carers

Please find attached an urgent letter for your attention.

I want to reassure you we are working closely with the Health Hub. We have reviewed measures that continue to be in place to reduce transmission: the school is operating in bubble groups, hand hygiene, good ventilation, cleaning regimes and vigilance around symptoms for example.

If you wish to book a PCR for reassurance you can do and should select: “Advised by the Local Authority” as the reason for testing. The pupils would not need to await the results before returning to school unless symptomatic. Please send copies of results to nicola.moody@taw.org.uk

Best wishes to all of our affected staff and pupils.

Thank you for your support.

Mrs M
