We are waiting for the government guidance regarding their intention that all children return to school in September.  We are looking forward to having our school family back together.

Staff are currently working on our ‘Recovery Curriculum’ for September.  The focus for the first few weeks back in school will be on the emotional wellbeing of our children, rebuilding relationships with peers and staff, physical activity and learning to follow the routines that a school day brings!  We feel strongly that once children are settled and emotionally ready to learn then the pace of a more ‘traditional’ curriculum will stand a much better chance of success.

We are aiming for children to feel happy and safe in school and aspire, as always, to make a difference to all of our school family.

We are grateful to everyone for their ongoing support as we work towards the next ‘stage’ of reopening.

I have had a few enquiries about giving information about transition.  Staff are working on plans which will support the children as best we can in the circumstances we currently work in.

We will be writing to you the week beginning the 29th June with arrangements.
