Remember….

Parents and Carers you are doing an amazing job.  You are keeping your children safe at home and looking after them.  It is ‘tricky’ and I am sure there are moments of despair!  Don’t be hard on yourselves, do your best and most of all keep each other smiling.

Enjoy the weekend, follow the guidance; walk more if you can and cuddle your children loads.  Mrs M x

Message from Burton Borough School

Year 6 Parents and Carers

You should receive information from BBS in the post soon.  In the meantime they have asked me to make you aware of the following links:

The second is a great video introducing your children to some of the key staff at BBS.

This presentation is useful to read through with your children:

URGENT letter to Year 6 Parents

Year 6 letter to parents URGENT

Year 6 parents and carers please see the attached letter.

PLEASE NOTE: We respect that parents and carers need further clarity on the detail of a potential return to school; we too are awaiting this and completely appreciate the frustration.  In order to plan we are just asking for an indicator of intent so we can look at the numbers we may be required to accommodate.  We appreciate support and understanding from those who have politely responded.

FSM Vouchers

The Department for Education have announced that FSM vouchers will not be provided for May half term.

We thank you for your support with this system: we are working hard to try to get vouchers to you however the Edenred system is challenging across the country and we are doing what we can.
