Please find attached an important letter for parents and carers ahead of next weeks SATS:
Daisy and Orla represented the school in the 1K Fun Run and they also volunteered to help with the adult 10K.
They both selflessly stayed on after their race for 3 hrs, helping adults prepare for the 10K runners. The girls gave out water, sports bags and t shirts at the finish line for all of the runners. They were kind, mature and conscientious. They really got into the community spirit. Their cheering on was particularly good even in the pouring rain. Well done to both of you, everyone at NJS is very proud!
Edward and Elizabeth ran the Newport Fun Run at Longford Hall on Sunday 30th May. Edward finished 2nd and Elizabeth finished 8th. Well to them both from all at NJS.
Our club offer is exceptional and its free!
Please can we give you some reminders that go alongside this excellent offer:
*Once you have selected a club on Parent Pay you will have a place. You will have no further contact.
*Please remember that clubs are FREE at NJS and run by our own staff! This is an EXCEPTIONAL offer and we are extremely grateful to our team for their commitment.
*We ask that each week you check our Facebook page and/or website for the following week that your club is running (occasionally due to other commitments staff may need to cancel their club). We will never cancel a club on the day: if the club your child is attending cannot run for a ‘last minute’ reason we will find an alternative for your child.
*Please collect your child promptly! All club collection is from the gates onto the main playground closest to Avenue Road South. Staff will bring your child here for dismissal.
*If your child cannot attend a club or chooses to leave a club please inform the office immediately.
Thank you for your support.

This is a message for the children who went to Arthog in March and had to return a day early due to the weather conditions….
Arthog have worked with us to arrange an outreach session at NJS for the children who had a disrupted visit to the Arthog Centre in Wales.
On Friday 23rd June those children will spend the morning, at NJS, with members of the Arthog team. The climbing tower will be on site and a range of team building activities similar to those that would have taken place on the Friday morning.
This group of children should come to school that morning in old clothes with their trainers.
