We have been asked by Telford and Wrekin to continue to ensure that we are insisting all children with COVID symptoms are taking a PCR test.
If your child has a cough, temperature or loss of taste or smell then they must not attend school, the household must isolate and a PCR test must be booked.
If your child has any of the other listed symptoms:
- headaches
- aches and pains
- feeling very tired for no good reason
- sore throat
- runny nose
- sneezing
- tummy ache in children

- My local council or health protection team has asked me (or someone I live with) to get a test, even though I do not have symptoms.
