Making Clay Roman Artefacts

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Please may we request that children bring an old shirt or t-shirt into school tomorrow to make clay artefacts. 4J will need them for tomorrow & 4L will need to bring them for Wednesday.

Harvest Festival 1.30pm at NJS. Children can have 1 adult maximum each to join our service due to space.

World Mental Health Day – children can bring pyjamas to change into for the afternoon activities if they wish.

Year 4 children will also be completing a healthy eating workshop in school this afternoon.

4PW History Lesson – Romans and Invasion

4PW have had an amazing History lesson this morning! We looked at a map of Britain and discussed where and how the Romans could invade. We talked about the tribes that were settled in Britain, Hillforts and their defensive features as well as daily life for the tribes. It was such a jam packed lesson that really got all the children chatting!

 I would just like to remind you all that 4 J have Beech’s Base tomorrow afternoon. If all children could come to school in warm waterproof clothing tomorrow with wellies or walking boots that would be brilliant.
