Please be aware of children crossing local roads and their need to do so safely. We would always encourage you to use the local car parks and walk from there to ease congestion around Avenue Road. 6 years ago Posted on 06th Nov 2018 by Mr Rotherham Garden of Remembrance Today we held a special service of Remembrance beside our Garden of Remembrance. Each child has made a flag with the name of someone from the local area who died in the First World War. Behind the flags are 18 white balloons. Each balloon represents one million people who died in the First World War. We held two minutes silence as part of our special assembly.

Order forms were sent home before half term. No Grab and Go orders accepted on the day, hot meals still to be ordered on the day. Thank you for your support.

6 years ago Posted on 05th Nov 2018 by Mr Rotherham Peace Week This week we will be marking the Centenary of the end of the First World War in special assemblies about Peace. Today we shared these service medals from the First and Second World Wars. They were awarded to Mr Charles Dymott, a former pupil of our school. They were donated to the school following his death. These medals will be displayed in school. If anyone has any further information about Mr Dymott please could you contact Mr Rotherham.

6 years ago Posted on 24th Oct 2018 by Mrs Ollerenshaw One more for luck… Finally, the P.E times have changed as a result of year 4 swimming. 4S will have P.E on a Monday afternoon. 4J will have P.E on a Thursday afternoon. 4F will continue to have P.E on a Friday.

Therefore, we will be swimming on a Tuesday every week until Christmas. Children will need a one piece costume or trunks; a towel and a swimming cap. If for any reason you would like your child to be excused from swimming that week, please send them into school with a letter explaining why. Thank you,
