Y3 Christmas Performance – Wednesday 7th December

Dear Parents,

Year 3 are so excited to be sharing their Christmas performance with you tomorrow!

The children will be sent home from school tomorrow WITH their costumes. Please can children return to school from 5:30 through the green security gate to enter school through the electric gates next to 3P IN THEIR COSTUMES. The children SHOULD COME TO SCHOOL DRESSED IN THEIR COSTUMES ready to perform. Children will then leave their coats in their classrooms ahead of the performance which starts at 6pm.

Thank you for your continuing support.

The Year 3 Team

REMINDER: Year 3 Performance Wednesday 6pm at NJS!

Year 3 are very excited to be hosting their Christmas performance!

Please remember:

*Strictly two audience members per child (any siblings or babies etc will count as one audience member).  We will ask you to sign in on arrival.

*We ask that you arrive through the front security gate and make your way in through the accessible door by 3P: leaving your children in their classrooms to prepare and then taking your seat in the hall.

*The security gate will open no earlier than 5.30pm.

*Photographs in this performance:

I know as parents you may wish to take photos of your child in their Christmas performance.  Please note that some children, for a whole range of reasons, do not have consent for their photograph to be taken.

Please can I therefore ask that if you take photographs you try to do so only of your own child and that you do not post any photographs from this performance on social media.

Thank you for your support, we are looking forward to a great evening.

3B at Beech’s Base

This half term 3B enjoyed some of the Stone Age activities they had been introduced to before half term. We also looked at and ordered body parts into a human skeleton.

Over the fire we toasted marshmallows and turned them into s’mores!

3L at Beech’s Base

This half term 3L enjoyed some of the Stone Age activities they had been introduced to before half term. We also looked at and ordered body parts into a human skeleton.

Over the fire we cooked apples and then used a pestle and mortar to grind porridge oats. We ate a version of Apple Crumble using the ground oats!!

As this is the last visit to Beech’s Base before Christmas we got into the festive spirit and made Rudolph stick decorations. They looked very effective and we got to practise our knot tying skills!

Thanks for a super day 3L!

Message for 3B Parents and Carers…

You will be aware that unfortunately Mr Butler has been unwell over the past couple of weeks.  Unfortunately he will be unable to return to work for at least the next two weeks.  Everyone at NJS sends Mr Butler our very best wishes.

Mrs Naylor will continue to cover the class in Mr Butlers absence with Mrs Humphries on a Friday.  We are grateful for your support.
