5OP Class Assembly – REMINDER

We are looking forward to our class assembly tomorrow!

Just a reminder, it is at 2:30pm in the school hall. Please come to the school office where you will be able to make your way round to the hall.

Hello Year 5 Parents,

Monday

  • Swimming for ALL year 5 classes
  • 5K with Mrs Yates for the afternoon
  • 5K Bikeability
  • Remembrance Service (At NJS)
  • Anti-bullying Week
  • Assembly with Telford and Wrekin Music Service: whole school
Tuesday 

  • All classes bring in PE kits and please leave in for the rest of the week
  • 5K Bikeability
  • Odd Socks Day
  • 5K – pm= Mrs Yates in

 
Wednesday

  • 5K Morning with Mrs H. PM with Mrs Yates.
  • 5P+5K PE lesson
  • 5P – Mr P Out of class PM – Mrs H in.
Thursday

  • 5OP PPA with Mrs Henderson in the afternoon.
  • All classes have library
  • 5OP Class Assembly – Parents/carers at 2:30pm.
Friday

  • 5OP PE lesson
  • Children in Need £1 Mufti

Year 5 girls visit to Newport Girls High

Our Year 5 girls have been invited to a taster day at Newport Girls High on 25th November. Details are in the attached letter.

Lunch will be provided by the High School but the girls may bring a packed lunch from home if they prefer. We will be letting the school know any dietary requirements in advance of our visit.

Please give permission on Parentpay.

The High school will be offering a visit in the summer term for the boys.

Bikeability – Reopened!

Due to low Bikeability numbers – we have reopened the sign up via ParentPay.

Please read the letter attached to ParentPay and then decide if Bikeability is suitable for your child.

For the 20 that have signed up – their letters and Bikeability consent forms are coming home with them tonight. If they do not bring the consent form back into school with them, then they will not be able to take part.

5OP Merry Go Rounds and Crumble

5OP have loved learning about programming this half term in computing using crumble.  Their final lesson  of this topic was to create a merry go round and get it to go round using the crumble software.  We had a very successful afternoon!
