Year 5 and 6 – BBS music assembly!

What a fantastic assembly year 5 and 6 had this afternoon with some staff from BBS. They were lucky enough to listen to some different instruments from the woodwind and brass families! Some children were even able to learn Mary had a little lamb in 5 minutes!

We will shortly be sending home letters for anyone who would be interested in lessons with a woodwind or brass instrument.

A big thank you to BBS for coming to our school! We all loved it!

Year 5 & 6 Movie Making Club

Well done to my Year 5&6 Movie Makers!

This week, we learnt how to add sound to a JPEG file. This was done using the app Chatterkid and the children had lots of fun doing it.

Next week, we will be learning to use a BRAND NEW software called “Adobe Express” where will learn how to add sound to animation.

See you again for another fun session!

Mr Parker

Successes in 5P

Hello!
Here we have Elrin who enjoyed European Day of Languages so much, she felt inspired to go home and learn a new language. Here she is looking very happy with her poster showing what she has learnt so far.

Here is Olivia who has had a very busy week, showing her posters encouraging all to recycle.

Here are our Handwriting stars from 5P for the past two weeks. Elizabeth and Olivia are constantly impressing me with their presentation and cursive joins, well done to you both!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Mr Parker
