We are celebrating Earth Day this year, by planting Sunflowers and Pumpkins and holding a competition for the tallest/heaviest. This competition will run until the Autumn.

Today the children will be looking at what Earth day means and the theme for this year. Children will then be decorating a plant pot and planting their sunflower/pumpkin seeds. They will then be bringing them home with them tonight.

Please support your child where you can, supporting the growth and nourishment of their seed.

WOW Newport Junior School!!!!

We are doing so well with the Big Pedal – we are up to 6th in the WHOLE COUNTRY with nearly 1000 schools taking part!!

A massive achievement!!

Another big push and we can be higher up the league table!
