Australia Day – Roving Reporter Live from Oz!!
The children at NJS were surprised a day early today – from our roving reporter down in Australia! Mr Leonard!!
As part of our Australia Day focus on Friday, children were treated to a live NJS interview with Mr Leonard – who is currently sunning himself on the Gold Coast!
Mr Leonard came LIVE on screen to the children’s delight, and they were able to ask him questions about his experiences so far!!

Manor Adventure Parents Information
Thank you to all the parents who attended the meeting, after school today.
Attached below are the slides that I shared, answering many of the questions parents have.
Also attached is the kit list and behaviour contract – which needs to be signed and returned before half term.

Yr 5/6 Girls Football
Congratulations to the year 5/6 girls football team who, after beating Redhill 5-0 yesterday afternoon, now progress to the semi-final of the County Cup. Well done girls, a superb, confident performance! 💕⚽️
Yr 4 Beech’s Base Request
As our Beech’s Base for this half term are coming up over the next two weeks, Miss Lockwood has requested that the children start to save toilet/kitchen roll tubes for this half terms Beech’s Base project.
Ideally they will each need two of equal length.

Yr 4 Manor Adventure Residential Meeting
On Wednesday 24th January at 3.20pm in the school hall, is the Yr 4 Manor Adventure Residential meeting for parents.
At this meeting you will find all the information necessary for a successful trip, including the activities, dormitory information, kits list and behavioural contracts. Medical forms have already been completed via your ParentPay accounts.
All information shared will be made available later in the week via the school website.
