Pre-Learning Task… After Christmas our new topic will be The Tudors – in particular, crime and punishment.

Over the holidays we would like you to research and present information about the Tudors. How you present your information is up to you but no PowerPoints please.

Encourage your child to carry on reading and record in reading diaries, including adult signatures to confirm reading at home.

Due to the changes in the Literacy curriculum children in Year 6 are expected to be secure with all KS2 spellings.

There will be no choice of spellings, in terms of degree of difficulty. All children, of all abilities, need to learn the following for next term:

interfere lightning
