We are extremely grateful to the PTA for funding the Leavers Hoodies and for the hard work they have put into organising them.

I have been made aware of some disappointment today regarding children not receiving their jumper.  I have looked into this and it seems that they were completing an art project this morning and enjoying the Royal Wedding Celebrations in the hall for the afternoon and this overran.  The team did not want to remove the children from the celebrations, needed to ensure children left on time and wanted to talk about the Hoodies to celebrate them, for the children to understand where they had come from and to check they were all in order.

The NJS team have had the best interests of the children in mind during SAT week.  We are sorry the last ‘piece’ of incentive and reward is delayed; there was absolutely no intention to cause upset.  

The children have been a credit to you this week in their hard work and resilience and hopefully will look forward to next week: receiving their jumper on Monday and their trip to Alton Towers on Tuesday.
