This message is for parents information and comes from PC Walker Shale (our Youth Engagement Police Officer) and concerns a very worrying clip on Tik Tok that parents will need to be aware of, knowing that lots of our children use Tik Tok on their devices. The message reads:

“The past couple of nights, my middle daughter has been talking about a clip of a film called Megan is Missing.  This morning, I have been alerted by my friends who work in CSE/CCE in West Mids about the TikTok trend surrounding this film. The film is apparently exceedingly violent, and depicts extreme sexual violence as well as torture, captivity and extreme physical abuse of children (girls). My daughter (14) said that several girls she knows are sleeping with their mothers after watching the film clip”.

Please can parents check at home, school bags etc for a missing pair of glasses which belong to child in Yr3. They are quite distinguishable as the lenses are blue in colour. If you find them please could they be returned to the main school office.

Please can we remind all families that children MUST NOT attend for school if they have COVID symptoms: high temperature, cough or loss of taste or smell.  A COVID test should be booked online and the child must isolate until the result is received.

Children MUST also isolate with the household if a member of the home becomes symptomatic until a test result is received.

Children MUST NOT attend for school if they or a member of the household are awaiting a COVID test result.
