Chetwynd Deer Park Class 3B

A fabulous time was had by all. Lovely weather and a bug hunt, followed by great views of the deer. Thanks to all parents who assisted and to Chetwynd Deer Park staff, for providing the children with such a cool morning’s activities- we’ll definitely be back soon!img_0966

Arthog – Mrs Gilmour’s Group!

Mrs Gilmour’s group had a fantastic day yesterday! They went canoeing (and swimming!), gorge walking and completed their John Muir Award by doing conservation work on Fairbourne beach.

Arthog Day 4 – Mr B’s Climbing Group

Another excellent day – super -impressed by all the children, who took up the challenge of climbing with enthusiasm. Jess, Cameron, Tiegan and Alfie – you really grew in confidence throughout the day, and really pushed through your fears – I’m really proud of you all.img_0887

Arthog Day 4 – Miss H’s Group

Group 2 have had another super day today. We scrambled and climbed up the Barmouth Slabs this morning and then enjoyed a picnic with hot squash and cake to warm us up at the top! We then did bouldering and traversing to refine our rock climbing skills. Throughout this, the children spotted for each other brilliantly and really supported each other when it was scary and tricky. Their team work couldn’t have been better! We then headed for ice creams on Fairbourne Beach, where we explored the rock pools and caves. We finished the day by completing our John Muir Award – we conserved the beach by litter picking! X
