Mrs Green, Mrs Henderson, Mrs Underwood, Mrs Wood, Mrs Beech and myself were honoured to escort some fabulous performers down to the Royal Albert Hall to perform with two thousand other choir members for parents and families associated with the performers, approx 5000 audience members!! The children were fantastic, the experience amazing and bravo to Mrs Green’s organisational skills which was up to its usual standard. The children represented NJS and Shropshire proudly. They sang songs from Les Miserables, Coldplay, Abba, Nessun Dorma and songs from around the World, expertly and we’d joins on the main stage by Karen and Kevin from Strictly Come Dancing!

A massive, massive thanks to all the parents and children who supported NJS with this years carnival. Our hard work and teamwork was thoroughly rewarded with the two winning trophies! The trophies are on display in Henshalls window, where you will also see our Newport in bloom display! Nothing more than we all deserved!
