Remote Learning Feedback

We are so delighted with the feedback that parents and carers have given us about the Remote Learning offer we have in place for the children of NJS.  A further copy of this can be found here:

Remote Learning Feedback Summary January 21

Thank you to all the parents and carers who have recently contacted us to thank us for everything we are doing, we REALLY appreciate this and it makes a MASSIVE difference to us.

To those parents and carers who feel they have a concern about the provision for their child we welcome a telephone call from you and we will, as always, do our very best to resolve those concerns where we can.

NJS staff, like yourselves, are managing an increased workload in school as they organise provision for pupils onsite as well as those at home alongside the personal pressures that lockdown brings us all.  I am VERY proud of how well they are doing this and believe the feedback above reflects the outcome of their hard work.

Thank you to our supportive parents and carers.

HALF TERM FOR KEYWORKER FAMILIES

The Department for Education have issued guidance that there is no expectation for schools to offer provision to the children of keyworker families for February half term.

Mrs Pierce and I are committed to supporting our families and working with Activ8 to ensure that childcare provision is available.

We have today emailed all keyworker families who approached us for support with details of the offer for February half term.  If you are a keyworker, require this provision and have not received an email please email me: nicola.moody@taw.org.uk

I am really grateful for the continued joint working with Newport Infant School and Activ8 to support our families.
