Calling New Global Avengers

Mr Jones is on the hunt for his new team of Global Avengers!

This is a club set up for children who want to make a difference to the world around them; be the voice for those who can’t speak for themselves.

In recent years, Global Avengers spearheaded a campaign for Toilet Twinning, where we managed to put toilets in 5 of the poorest parts of the world: Shropshire Star Link.

This year, we are hoping to embark on a new global project, where the children will lead the way in being advocates of change and making a difference to those most in need.

This club meet every Thursday lunch time in 6J. If you think it is something you would be interested in, please sign up on Parent Pay or speak to Mr Jones for more information!

Year 4 Reminders WC 9.9.24

Well done for a wonderful first week back at NJS year 4! We have been absolutely thrilled with your behaviour, attitudes and hard work this week. On the Year 4 page on the school website there are some photos of what you’ve been getting up to. Check out the Class Showcase section to see them!

Homework sheets for this half term have been sent home this afternoon. This can also be found in the Class Homework section on the Year 4 page on the website. We will also post some weekly spellings on to the website each Friday for you to have a look at. These can also be found on the Year 4 page, in the Class Spellings section.

Year 4 Reminders

Please send your child into school with a sturdy plastic carrier bag over the next two days (17th July/18th July), so that we can give them completed class exercise books and display work / completed homework projects to take home.
Also, a reminder that it is Year 6 leavers Church Assembly on Thursday 18th July. Please take your child directly to church for 8.45am.
