Two Week; Poetry Homework

 

We would like the children to find, learn and practice speaking aloud a poem of choice. This poem may be in any form, i.e. rhyme, non-rhyme, limerick, rhyming couplets, free verse, haiku etc.

This homework is to last for two weeks, giving children plenty of time to complete it.

They can use any resource they have, including the school library, to find a poem.

If children would like, they may also use the same poem style to create one of their own.
