Xmas School Message Polar Express
Wow… What a message to receive from Amanda and Jamie at Heart Breakfast Radio!
I was extremely excited to share this to the children during assembly.
What a way to end the election campaign!
One more day to go!

We have had a big chat with the children today regarding costumes for the Christmas play. The children are aware of their role now and can find their costume suggestions below. Lots of children have said they have other costumes that may help other children. Therefore, if you are happy with this, we will warmly welcome any extra costumes. If you are really struggling, please speak to one of the year 4 teachers so we can arrange a costume for the performance.
PLEASE label all items and pop them into a labelled bag for your child.
We have asked for the costumes to be in Friday 29th or Monday 2nd of December.
Host: Smart Outfit.
Voiceover: Suit
Floor Managers: All black outfit.
Smallest Sheep: A sheep costume
Funky Camel: A camel costume with some added bling, cool hair and sunglasses.
Caesar: Roman costume
Mary and Joseph – Traditional nativity costumes.
Shepherds: Traditional shepherd costumes.
Sheep: sheep costumes or appropriately coloured tops and trousers.
Angel Gabriel: Traditional white robes, wings, halo.
Heavenly host: Traditional white robes, wings, halos.
Wise Men: Traditional king costumes
Star of Bethlehem: A star outfit or a glittery outfit (gold or silver)
Stars: Star outfits or ballet outfits.
Ceilidh Dancers/Nazareth Neighbours: Traditional townspeople with some 70s bling if possible.
Roman Soldiers: Roman soldier outfits.
Gabriel’s Gospel – Angel costumes.
Bethlehem Latitude: Camel costumes or brown leggings, a brown top and some camel ears.
Exciting times in Year 4 as we began our Christmas play yesterday! If you didn’t already know, the children will be performing ‘Lights Camel Action – The Sequin’.
The children are really enjoying the new songs and dances!
The performance will be on Tuesday 10th December. We would ask that the children arrive for 6pm for a 6:15pm start.
If your child cannot make it to the evening performance, we will require a note to ensure we know who will not be attending.
Many thanks!
The Year 4 Team
Good Morning,
We have noticed that the spellings on the website are incorrect. Below you will find the spellings that the children have been sent home with.
Sorry for the delay!
The Year 4 Team
Due to parents evening we have moved swimming to Monday so please ensure the children remember to bring in their kit.
Have a lovely weekend!
The year 4 team
This afternoon we have discussed outfit choices for next week. We have suggested wearing bright colourful dresses/skirt and top (60s style if possible) or trousers and a bright colourful shirt.
Please don’t feel like you have to spend any money on the outfits. We have all discussed wardrobes and anything along the lines of above is perfectly fine.
If the children could bring in their outfits by next Wednesday, we can do a full dress rehearsal Thursday and Friday.
We are really looking forward to sharing our assembly with you next Friday!
