Latest Twitter Post – Courageous Advocates Day
As a school family, we enjoyed our #CourageousAdvocates day last week.
Each class spent time learning about their CA & then presented information in a whole school assembly.
There was information on #NelsonMandela, #BarackObama, #EmmelinePankhurst & #MartinLutherKing pic.twitter.com/Xi9Sj78cSi— Newport CE Junior School (@newport_ce) September 28, 2022
School Photographs Wednesday!
The photographer will be in school on Wednesday 28th September for annual, individual school photographs!
If you have siblings who do not attend NJS and would like to bring them for a sibling photograph please be at the school hall for 8.30am.
If your siblings are within NJS we will organise this within the school day.
Message from PTA re AGM:
Our Fantastic Footballers!
A huge well done to the girls year 4 football team! They played their first ever match yesterday v St Peter & St Paul Primary School and came away with a well-earned draw. Although NJS went one goal down early in the second half, the girls kept their heads up and pushed through the tiredness to get the equaliser.
Mrs Wood is very proud of you all, well done!
Lost Property
Items of lost property are kept outside Mr Lawson’s classroom in Year 3.
If you have lost items please check this area.
Can I please remind you to make sure items of uniform are clearly named so we can get them back to your child.
