The children are having an amazing day so far with the Viking Man! They have been engrossed in his stories and sharing all the artefacts he has brought in for them to look at and handle.
The children look wonderful too in their Viking Costumes!

Yr 4 Manor Adventure 4th-8th March
Please note…
- Wellies were on the flyer as a mistake, apologies – trainers are preferable. Many of the activities are trainer based. We are not doing wet activities so therefore the trainers should not apart from any rainfall. I would suggest old trainers and a better pair!
- Money, is not needed for this trip. The last time we went to Manor Adventure, the only thing we could purchase was snack items – there were no souvenirs – therefore we didn’t let the children spend money.

Year 3/4 Book Club, with Mrs Bold on Wednesday, will be taking a look at the Book Fair in the library. If there are any children who would like to bring some money to buy a book on Wednesday, then please feel free to do so.

We have been investigating the weight of carbon dioxide in fizzy pop. We know that gases have a weight.
Art Club
We have had a fantastic time in art club creating spring time art using water colours.
Ukraine Donations Success!
A massive thank you to everyone that donated towards our efforts to support those affected by the war in Ukraine!
We were overwhelmed with the amount of items we received, and feel humbled to know that we have made a difference to the world outside of Newport.
The van (supplied by Peter Booth Electricals) has now taken our items, and therefore we ask that any donations that were to be bought in tomorrow and now donated at another collection point.
Once again, The Global Avengers, and the whole NJS family would like to thank you for your AMAZING effort at supporting this cause!
