Year 3 Spellings and Homework for the rest of the year.

Dear Parents,

A big thank you to all parents for supporting your children to achieve well in their homework and spellings this term!

For the rest of the term there will be no more spellings,but we will still be expecting children to practice their TTRS work and to continue reading at least 3 times per week, recording in their Reading Record books.  We will continue to reward this with house points.

Please support your child to learn their lines for the play.

PTA Christmas Fair

Christmas Fayre Friday 6th Dec 2pm-3:30pm

School Hall, Library & surrounding classrooms.

Please join us for our biggest fund-raising event of the year!  Lots of stalls & games: lucky dip, chocolate tombola, jar tombola, bottle tombola, spin the wheel, books & toys stalls, beauty salon (temporary tattoo’s, hair chalk, nail varnish), roll a coin, refreshments, craft workshop area and many more.

Christmas Fair: Friday!

PTA Christmas Fair takes place on Friday at 2pm.  A letter that was sent home yesterday is attached.  Please return the slip to class teachers indicating if you will be collecting your child at 2pm or if they will be dismissed at the end of the day as usual.

Thank you Choir!

Thank you to the wonderful children who sang at the Newport Light Switch on and/or at the Civic Carol Service.  Both events took place this weekend and the children did NJS proud: thank you.

Chocolate Challenge!

During this week could children please bring in a donation of chocolate.  This will be used for the Chocolate Tombola at the Christmas Fayre this Friday.  The chocolate will be weighed Thurs morning to reveal the winning class.
