5M Blind Football

5M had a PE lesson today with a twist today. They were introduced to the complexities of Blind Football. It’s fair to say a lot of children found it very difficult and it definitely made them appreciate being able to see what they were doing!

 

Yr5 Arthog Residential Meeting

Thank you to all the parents who attended the residential meeting afterschool today.

Please find attached the slides from the meeting, a kit list, a behavioural contract and a medical form which were all shared.

Please can I ask that the medical forms and behaviour contracts are back in school by Friday 15th March as they need to be sent off to the centre.

Energy Saving Poster Competition

Reminder ~School Council are running an energy saving poster competition.

How can we save energy at NJS?

All entries to be in for March 11th.

Please give your entries to your class school council representatives,

This will be taking place in our NJS school hall on Thursday at 3.30pm.  Please make your way to the hall following collection of your child.

The Space Dome


All of the year 5 children thoroughly enjoyed their visit inside the space dome today. One child described it as ‘breathtaking.’ We learnt all about the planets & constellations too.

Y5 Dome Day Tomorrow

Please could parents go on ParentPay to agree to tomorrow’s experience  Consent is needed for all children due to the lighting and the nature of the experience. We currently have over 20 children where permission has not yet been granted for the Solar System Planetarium. Any issues, please contact your child’s class teacher.
