5H home learning Day 1 Tuesday 10th November

Good evening 5H. Please find attached the lessons for your child to do tomorrow from home. Keep an eye on your email because I am really hoping to be able to do a Teams meeting tomorrow with the children to say hello, have a chat, reassure them that I am ok and to do some mindfulness together. Mrs Moody will email you a link via ParentMail if we manage to arrange this. Take care everybody. Love Miss Hardy x

Year 5 Enginuity buggy workshop

This is a reminder for all year 5 parents/carers that the Enginuity buggy workshop is taking place in school next week and all children must return the reply slip giving permission for them to take part. All children in 5L, 5M and 5H were given a paper copy of the attached letter before half term. There are spare copies of this letter in each of our classrooms for anyone who has misplaced it.

Back to School Blues!

The children who come to NJS are amazing! They have shown that they are resilient and can adapt to different situations. There are some who do need some extra support and there are those who have anxieties returning to school after breaks. Please use the link to access helpful information to put measures in place before Monday morning arrives.

Reading Queries during Parents Meetings

During parents meetings on Monday some parents, from across the year group, raised reading as a possible issue/something their child needs to work on.

Wow! What super homework ideas from Imogen 5M

Some great homework completed by Imogen in 5M for this term. She has produced some Egyptian hieroglyphics on some tea stained “old” papyrus, she has made a super sarcophagus with its own Mummy & she has made herself her own “Death Mask!” Well done Imogen – some superb pieces of homework created!
