Remote Learning Feedback Survey:

Staff at NJS have worked hard to establish a quality Remote Learning offer during this period of National Lockdown.  Remote Learning is defined as learning that is facilitated by school staff but does not take place on school site.  Our vision was for a blended offer of live opportunity with independent learning.  We would appreciate your feedback by completing the survey below.  Please indicate your level of agreement with the statements below by selecting your response, you are welcome to leave comments to explain your feedback.  Thank you, as always, for your support.

Menu for Tomorrow!

Menu amendment for tomorrow for European Languages day for those children attending school:

Breaktime Treat: Hot chocolate with cream! Croissants and Pains au Chocolat

Lunch: Build a baguette and/or quiche lorraine followed by chocolate crepes, ice cream or creme caramel

All those who attend school are welcome to order this in the morning (it’s even a treat on offer to the staff!).

If you are learning from home tomorrow you may wish to develop your own ‘European menu’ and could send photos to Mr Parker nicholas.parker4@taw.org.uk

Reading Resources

The Reading Library through the Oak National Academy will provide free resources for children to access books and reading materials.

Book Trust is a national website which promotes reading and has many downloadable resources to support and encourage reading.

Website Issues!

A new NJS art challenge

Hello children,

I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying your home learning. I would like to share a new art challenge with you all. This week, I would like us to focus on Shadow Art. Using a torch or a living room light, lamp or even a torch from a mobile phone. Find a dark place in your home, choose your favourite object. Place it on some plain A4 paper and have a go at creating your very own pieces of art by tracing around the shadow.
