Home Learning Task – Day 27 – Wednesday 13th May
Dear Parents,
Please find attached tomorrow’s home learning task (13th May).
It is a project that will last all day and encompasses all three subjects. We hope you will have lots of fun and there will be lots of pictures to share with us!
As a result of tomorrow’s task, there will be no Facebook live lesson. It would be unfair to ask you to complete a days worth of work by 10am – we know things can be very stressful!
Please do send in your pictures as we love to see them!
Thank you for your continuing support

Fabulous work from 3P
Hello everyone!
Here are some fab pieces of work pupils that 3P have completed and sent to me.
If you have any work that you are proud of please do send them too!
We have VE day celebrations and completed school work of street party invitations and posters being shared. Also, cooking and sharing a delicious honey cakes recipe (which is actually a WW2 recipe!)

As well as some explosive science work and a Nelson Mandela PowerPoint!

Bike component naming activity for all pupils
Hello all of Newport Junior School
I have noticed over the past few weeks that more and more people are getting out on their bikes!
This is Fantatstic! I myself love biking and i am really pleased to see everyone out enjoying it.
I wanted to create a short activity to develop some learning off this exciting activity. Attached is a short PowerPoint helping you learn and label the different parts found on a bike.
Have a go and see how much you already know!
You can produce as much or as little as you like. If you would like to share anything you have done please feel free to send anything to myself on elliot.lawson@taw.org.uk
follow the link here Bike Bonanza label parts
Please be aware there is no expectation for this activity to be completed, participation is fully optional. If you do not wish to print the sheet try taking it in turns to point at a part of the bike and see if you can name it.
All the best,
Mr Lawson
