Mufti for a Jar

Please remember it is Mufti for a jar tomorrow – Friday 28th June (except for Yr 6 – your day is Tuesday 2nd July)

The jar can be a filled jar or a jar filled with anything you want – if you fill your jar with sweets they need to be individually wrapped (Health and Safety reasons!)

Many thanks

Mr M

BBS visit Friday and Jar for Summer Fair

We are still awaiting permission slips for this visit, please complete and return before Friday.

On Friday, children are being asked to bring a jar for mufti, however as we are visiting Burton Borough, Y6 cannot wear mufti. Year 6 children need to be in school uniform, including green jumpers and cardigans. Year 6 children can still bring a jar but wear mufti on Tuesday (02.07.19) of next week instead.

Thank you for your support!

Yr 5/6 Sports Day – 25.6.19

Yr 5/6 Sports Day

Please can we remind the children and parents in Yr 5 and 6 that they can come to school in their PE kits ready for Sports Day – they do not need uniform.

Both Yr 5/6 children need school bags with their normal equipment, but year 5 children also need their swimming kits.

Thanks Mr M

Year 6 Writing Club

My apologies I didn’t get to speak to Mr Moody before the school newsletter was published but writing club has now finished for the school year.

I want to say well done to the children.
