Yr 5 & 6 Christmas Performace

Yr 5 and 6 welcomed over 150 parents, friends and families of NJS to their wonderful recital of “Home for Christmas,” the story of a homeless lady being befriended by a family and taken in and cared for over Christmas. It was a story of hope and gratitude told through a selection of readings and musical pieces.

Well done to all the children involved.

REMINDER: Y5 + Y6 church tomorrow

A reminder for all Year 5 and Year 6 children that they are to be dropped off at St. Nicholas’ Church tomorrow morning (Monday 12th Dec) at normal time (8.50am) for a rehearsal for the Christmas performance.

Girls Football!

Absolutely amazing!!! Two of our girls, Caitlyn Disley (gk) and Izzy Oldroyd (just behind gk), have today won the @SchoolsFootball regional finals, for Telford and Wrekin. They have now qualified for the national finals @SSCFA2

Well done girls and a big thank you to Mr James, from Grange Park for organising this fabulous winning team!

Year 5 Science Afternoon at Adams’ Grammar School 30.12.16

Year 5 had a fantastic time yesterday at Adams’ Grammar School. Our classroom for the afternoon was a Biology laboratory and we had full access to all the exciting equipment and resources that link to our Autumn term topic of Properties and Changes of Materials. Here are some photos of 5H having a super time sieving and mixing solutions,a exploring with filtration, evaporation and distillation. The children really enjoyed themselves and represented NJS brilliantly – well done! Miss H x
