Observational drawing in 6B art

Today class 6B learnt about Clarice Cliff and their first art lesson. We cut citrus fruits and tried to have a go at an observational drawing of the inside of the fruit. Well done everybody!

Menu Change: Friday 13th September

There are NO fish fingers on Friday.

This Friday the option will be fishcakes or battered fish with the usual chips, beans, salad.

ParentPay Update

Evening all

ParentPay is taking longer to move over than we would usually expect and, despite our efforts, cannot be helped.

Please be reassured we will not make residentials or clubs available on ParentPay until we know everyone has access.  This MAY mean clubs and residentials won’t go live this week as initially hoped.

I will email once ParentPay activation letters have gone out (to Year 3 and new families in Years 4, 5 and 6).  We will then give 24+hours for you to log into ParentPay.  Then we will notify clubs and residentials going live.

We can only apologise but hope to reassure you not to panic, we’ll get there!

Beech’s Base REMINDER!

5OP – Wednesday 11th September

5K – Friday 13th September

5P – Wednesday 18th September (Next week).

Reminders for B.base:

  • Wear the appropriate clothing – please check the weather forecast.
  • Bring a change of shoes/clothes.
  • Waterproof coat

Children can come into school in their clothing however, we would suggest bringing some spare clothes in case of heavy rainfall. We would also ask the children to come into school in clean shoes/trainers and they can change into old shoes/wellies before the session in the afternoon.

Many thanks,

Year 5

5P Class Book

Parents- as part of 5P’s class book ‘I am Rebel’ please keep an eye out for “The Red’s Scarf” which your child may be bringing home to share with you and your 4 legged friend! If you could kindly take a photo of your dog wearing it and email it to me at nicholas.parker4@taw.org.uk I will then use it to update our class Reading Area Display as seen with the pictures and models so far.

Best wishes,

Mr Parker

(Thank you to Teddy, Mollie and Hugo- you look “paw-some”!)
