Year 4 Swimming Kit Reminder

Hi Year 4!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend. On Monday we will be taking all Year 4 children in Green and Yellow Houses to the Newport Swimming Pool. Please could these children ensure they have their Swimming Kit with them.

This is in addition to the lessons which take place for ALL Year 4 children on Thursday.

Year 4 Swimming Kit Reminder

YEAR 4 ***NEW SWIMMING GALA DATES***

Dear Parents

 SWIMMING GALA DATE CHANGE

 Due to Year 4 not using the swimming pool this year, the gala dates have been altered until after the children have begun school swimming in the NJS pool. The new dates are:

Monday 21st June  – Yr 4 Red and Blue

Monday 28th June – Yr 4 Yellow and Green

 This will help staff group children and understand the children’s swimming needs and water confidence.

Year 4 Deer Park Trip

Morning Everyone!

…. 20,000 steps later and we all had a wonderful time at Chetwynd Deer Park! It was great weather and the children had a wonderful time exploring! The activities they took part in were bug hunting, pond dipping and even some bug tasting… If they dared!

Year 4 Deer Park Trip

Good Morning Year 4

Hope you are all well. Just a couple of reminders for the Deer Park Trip on Monday:

  • Please come in outdoor clothing to be worn all day (Please could the weather forecast be checked prior to Monday so that it is appropriate for the weather e.g. light waterproof jacket or thick coat/ Sun cream and Hat if necessary)
  • All children need to bring a packed lunch.. Any children who receive Free School Meals have already placed an order for a packed lunch to be arranged for Monday.

P.E Kit

Hi Everyone

Please can all Year 4 Children bring their P.E kit on a Monday and keep it in school until Friday. It means we can take as many opportunities as we can to get out in the beautiful sunshine 🙂
